Saltwater Farm Vineyard is set on more than 100 panoramic acres – 15 of which are planted with six varieties of grapes – bordered by tidal marshes, a cove and vistas of Long Island Sound, near the historic New England coastal village of Stonington, CT.
The centerpiece of the property, which has a small private airport dating back to the late 1930s, is a World War II-vintage hangar, which opens to stone terraces and the vineyard. The hangar has been preserved and converted into a winery.

For wine lovers who want to enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the breathtaking views of the vineyards, Saltwater Farm Vineyard has a tasting room in the mezzanine level of a restored WWII-era private hanger.
From this vantage point, guests can enjoy panoramic views of the lush vineyards and the beautiful landscape of the vineyard. Wine at the Saltwater Farm Tasting Room is only available by the glass or by the bottle so there is no wine tasting. Guest can also opt to have the CT Craft Beer & Cider options which are also available.
Visitors are allowed to bring their own food or snacks although alcohol from outside is prohibited. The Tasting Room is open Monday and Wednesday from 11 am to 5 pm, Thursday from 11 am to 7 pm and Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm.
